Ability Training Awards

Become an ATA assessor

Review training courses and CPD in the subjects you know, from home, and get paid for each review.

How it works

  1. 1Apply. Your assessing or teaching qualification, the subjects you know, and your CV. About 15 minutes.
  2. 2Lead quality assurer checks. Your certificate and subject experience are checked. You are approved subject by subject.
  3. 3ATA assessor course. Six short online modules (about 2 hours) and a practice review, marked with feedback.
  4. 4Agreement and first reviews. Sign the assessor agreement. Your first 3 reviews are countersigned by the lead quality assurer.
  5. 5Paid per review. Paid per course review once it is signed off. Yearly online standardisation keeps everyone consistent.
